Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a proprietary information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards from the major card brands including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB.
The PCI Standards is mandated by the card brands and run by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, the standard was created to increase controls around cardholder data to reduce credit card fraud via its exposure.

Notice of updated Interac Debit Contactless Payments Interchange Pricing structure
This notice is to inform you that Interac Corp. (“Interac”) is introducing a new pricing tier for Interac Debit Contactless transactions between $100.01 - $250.00, effective November 1, 2022.
The new Tier 4 interchange flat-fee of $0.055 will apply to all transactions between $100.01 - $250.00 regardless of the tier pricing for which the merchant has qualified for,
with all transactions below $100.01 remaining unchanged.
